Ack, Ewan, that 'tache is uneven!
Soooooo, did Ewan just not understand the question then?
As someone who was a GameGrumps fan for a long time, I find the hatred against tutorials to be really ridiculous. Modern games require tutorials. Intuitive learning works in like a 2D platformer where you have like 5 different game mechanics in total and half the amount of buttons. Imagine trying to play something like Shadow of Mordor without any sort of tutorials. There's so much stuff you wouldn't figure out for the longest time, assuming you ever figured it out at all.
Swimming levels – turtles on the amiga broke me for that
If Ash loves tutorials I wonder what does she has to say about Final Fantasy XIII
Multiple choices, when you make a choice and still get the same result.
A female who loves being lied too, how shocking.
Liberating outposts and climbing towers in Far Cry and Assassins Creed. I love it, makes me feel like I'm a cartographer.
I think Borderlands 2 would be way better with weapon degradation. I love the game but it annoys me I pick up so many weapons but never use them. Imagine if you had to keep your best weapons for bosses and had to grind through other parts of the games using the other random weapons. It would increase variety and make the easier sections way more interesting. If this feature exits in Borderlands 3, sign me up 🙂
Ash, you have lovely hair. Just had to say ~
Personally I love hyper realism. Even in fantasy games i like an air of realism
I love slow leveling. Most people seem to like to level up pretty fast, but I love slow, grindy leveling.
And yeah, I like encumbrance. I generally like any system where you have to manage your character in some way.
Kirsten has Finn’s sword!! Lol
Grinding doesn't get enough respect.
Ash is a babe and total catch and I hope nobody ever trashes her for her bad takes. ❤️
We stan Ewan's 70's cop tashe
People hate choices?
I love Ash from What Culture. There. I said it. She might have just put a spell on me but that little demonic angel brightens my day.
I'm here for the DBZ reference
Love the goku/rocky reference
Though some might find it crazy, Ash openly admits to loving being lied to. I admire her honesty. It's one of the reasons she's the best presenter in the show… What???
I love stealth missions in games. When you've spent 50 hours thundercunting your way through endless enemies, having the game tell you "That's cool but let's see if you can play this game smart!" and throws you into a mission at night with stealth weapons or no guns at all and tells you to stay unseen is just great. They force you to rethink how you play, makes you spot patterns and pay attention to routes and escapes and hiding. Endlessly Duke Nukem-ing your way through everyone all the time is tiresome. Give me stealth missions all over my face and down my throat please.
I genuinely think people who despise stealth missions and simply just want to grind generic gunfights over and over have had a lobotomy.
Ash, THANK YOU! Some of us need the a good tutorial. And I enjoy them too.
sry for this potentially very dumb question, but whats a service game/title?
I love when games give you superficial choices. I despise when there's meaningful changes in the stories because I get overwhelmed with choices and want to see everything hehe also I always go for the choices that makes sense for the character, not what I want so is pointless to have those other options. So yeah I love my stories being linear and concise. I do love games with tons of option but is not because of those options, if it was up to me I would get the story straight with no options. Give me a good story, i dont need those options
Josh "I Just Love Getting Wet" Brown.
I love to grind. The amount of time I spend just running around, music on in the background and just watching the numbers tick up without paying much attention… love it.
