I ordered this one & can wait to play it. Just wondering if you feel the same way about it & if you still would play it if you weren't busy with new stuff?
Hi BGR-First off, I wanted to say I really enjoy your content. I was thinking of ways to show that appreciation and I noticed you just have the auto-generated Closed Captioning on your videos. I like to listen to videos quietly so I find CC useful. If that's something of interest to you, I would love to write some up CC files for you guys. Thanks and keep up the good work.
That looks like a lot of fun! I was a bit confused by the number of yellow figures, I kept counting them and arriving at 5, even though there were only 4 players. At internet search of the game didn't yield any answers until I looked at boardgamegeek, which had a brief description of the game and said that Pog controlled a light warjack called Doorstop. It made sense after that. Anyway, thanks for playing and sharing and for your commentary, I will be looking to add this game to my collection!
I was just wondering, are you guys going to do a BGR of Twilight Imperium 3?
another tactical miniatures game gave me pause (more than satisfied with SW:IA lately) but after you showed how everyone easily became immersed (with the crossbow fail) and described the combat mechanism ("it gives dice a little more meaning" – Isaac) you won me over. yet another excellent video…it's so good to have you guys back!
I've found that the AI of a game like this can really make or break it. One of my favorite co-op games is Galaxy Defenders, based a lot on the game's wonderful AI system. What are you're impressions of the AI for The Undercity when compared to games like Galaxy Defenders?
Is the board seems to always be the same size?
Also, the game reminds me of Middara…
