GET OFFICIAL “CAMP SHARER” MERCH NOW!! ━► Today in Stephen Sharer’s BRAND NEW VLOG 2020 Stephen Sher reveals BRAND NEW...

  • i don't know who Strippin is but i'm really enjoying his perspective on things and his personality, also i'm happy to be a part of another Dojo session, these are so spiffy^^

  • Street Fighter will always be that game that I’d love to learn and get good, but to be honest I know myself too well. Every time I get into a fighting game, life gets in the way and I gotta use my time for different priorities that I’ve chosen for myself. Once, I even asked Brett on Twitter if he had character advice for me in a game I wanted to get, and even though he responded with a really helpful answer, I couldn’t spare the money to buy it and I’m sure even if I did I wouldn’t have found the time. I’m not saying I regret my decision, because if I’m being honest school is more important to me than becoming a competitive player.

Oh well, at least I can always watch and support from the sidelines.

  • I love watching all these rookie-bronze tactics, and hearing Brett freaking out, cuz he can't handle how simple it all is.

  • This is hands down my new favourite show. SO good. Would LOVE to have someone properly teach me Dead or Alive 5… if it wasn't dead 😥

  • I laughed out loud when I heard Patrick losing it in the background. Patrick is officially the third member of SCF.

Also: Strippin is inspiring me to git gud at this game, man!

  • These are my favorite videos you make! I got into Street Fighter just a few months ago And all the coaching I've received has been from my friends/coworkers who explain to me concepts without being able to actually show me. I've learned A LOT on my own, and I've heard most of what you're talking about in the training sections, But these are such good learning tools to people who have no fucking idea what they're doing.

I fuckin' love you dudes content so much. Lol

  • Strippin isn't gonna take long to get to Plat huh? He's pretty damn good already all things considered.

  • The moment he landed that high counter I lost my shit, then Bretts reaction gave me the biggest smile

  • Definitely character match-ups needs to be a future episode and I'd love you guys to run a Dojo stream at some point during this journey and let us put Strippin through the ringer.

  • I'm one of those people who agree with the idea of things unable to get worse if you haven't gotten anything at all..but at the same time my brain hates losing to online in the Street Fighter 5 version unlike in Blazblue central friction to which I can lose and not be upset at..it's weird for me ^~^'

  • Since I tend to suck real bad at this game, I typically punish c.fierce with my own c.fierce. As a Karin main, I'm really not sure how to punish, so It's more of a guessing/notice-when-they-do-unsafe-stuff game for me. But thanks to this video, I am going to look for optimal punishes. Thanks, and keep these awesome videos coming!

  • Why does Brett adding 'please' to his coaching make it sound more passive aggressive than regular coaching?

  • I think you should teach him how to deal with pressure and his opponent being on him and not backing off the whole match.
I always struggle with that when I play online

  • GodDAMN, I missed online Dojo matches. I wish we could just always play ranked games, they're just so hype. Whenever Strippin hit a clutch punish, I instantly got into it.

    Symmetra punishes:
    – Charge shot, back away, release and immediate shield. Any telegraphing Roadhog wastes a hook or worse
    – Charge shots for any shield character turtling up, rein, orisa, etc. Defense is now death.
    – Turret spam, focusing Genji ultimates, shreds them for releasing their blade in range, usually before they can even get the first shot in.

  • Just a little tech tip for Strippin' or anyone having issues with walking forward fireball motions doing SRK's. Instead of doing QCF you can do down back to forward of half circle forward for a dead input to keep it from doing SRK commands.

  • I'd very much like to see something on how to keep calm in a match and how to react to stuff better. Thanks for the awesome content, you guys. Best of luck to you.

  • Man, watching Strippin with his first couple of matches and cheering him on was hype, makes me want to get back in on SF and go back to learning the game.

  • Chun-Li in SFV:
Small Gap: Point blank it's cr.LK (3 frames) ,cr.LPxxLight Spinning bird kick(SBK). A little farther just cr.LP into SBK but that's 4 frames.
Crush Counter: Standing Heavy kick, dash, st.MP, cr.MKxxMedium SBK
Wiff punish: cr.mkxxSBK or Lightning Legs depending on if you have charge.

  • I just want to say thank you guys for the channel and the awesome advice you give. I've only recently got into fighting games, Blazblue to be precise, and it shows as I constantly panic when put under pressure, yet inspite of that I'm still managing to pull off an occasional win. However today in particular I was listening to this episode as a pod cast rather than watching it, as I usually do, and was getting my ass handed to me until Bret gave Strippin the advice of disrupting what your opponent wants to do. Despite already knowing this, this was the first time I ever internalized it and finally began to calm down and beat my opponent 4 times in a row. Granted I still drop combos more than a person changes their clothes and I have a tendency to mash when trying to do combos that have a short window for inputs, but those 4 matches were a noticeable improvement when comparing it to my past endeavors. Anyways, thanks again for the content.

  • 33:45 Oooooh man, these 2 Ryu matches in a row were too funny to watch. 10/10 loved the online portion of this one.

  • Awesome stuff, would love to see more in depth coverage of figuring out optimal options at different spacings and situations. You know, like the action zones thing?
And of course, footsies and mindgames! (conditioning, shimmies, pokes, patterns creation and recognition)
And finally, I am still not entirely sure how to approach and figure out frame traps.
Thanks a bunch either way! these videos have been realky helpful and inspiring, especially with Karate kid's improvement!

  • Hype Brett is best Brett. It crescendos into a perfect level of hype-ness that is not only entertaining, but also hypes myself up, as well. This is one of many reasons SCF has quickly become one of my favourite YT channels.

  • Question: I guess Strippin will work on his rank in his spare time? I have the feeling he will and I'd totally understand, it's a long journey, but I'd be happy if we would see as much as possible of it. I'd be down if you would make a stream session every once in a while.
And since I struggle with punishes myself, I'll be sure to work on mine~

  • Strippin' is just blowing people UP!!! Cracks their defenses, punishes decently, and just OBLITERATES that opposing health bar! Even for how young he is, his climb up that ladder is very strong. YOU CAN DO IT!!!

  • I've started a Super Couch Fighters community on the PS4. Everyone and all their fighting games are welcome to join.
