Yeah! My man Sabertooth.
i'm very proud of Strippin in this session, you've improved so much^^ Oh, and to answer the episodes' question, for this game, depending on what characters are fighting, if it's like Cammy or Juri, i…admittedly am staring at them lustfully, usually their booty XD they're just so MMM! Um, otherwise i watch the opponent until i perform some cool looking moves.
I play Mira a lot in Killer Instinct, and because of that I have to keep a heavy eye on her life since a lot of her heavier attacks and air dashes cause her to get gray life which can only be recovered by her grabbing and biting the opponent (and the opponent can knock all of it off at that.)
Ok Santell had the bit changing the lyrics of "Who Can it Be Now" to Who Should Brett Be Now probably made me laugh harder than it actually should have lmao…
Does Strippin play on a pad or arcade stick? Based on the way, they've been talking over the past couple videos has made me believe that he's playing on a pad, which is interesting because they trained Jirard on an arcade stick.
Didn't think this episode was necessary but this episode has clearly proved me wrong he improved drastically just by paying more attention to his resources
I've been tempted to pick this Game up, but after playing a few of the older fighting games on the Ps4 (ones from Ps2 era etc, such as Last Blade II and King of Fighters 2000) I found myself absolutely useless, unless I played on the 2 easiest difficulties (Last Blade II had no difficulty so I got hammered instantly and lost the will to continue).
Is Street Fighter something that is slightly better at easing people into it, or should I just take the hint that Fighting Games aren't my jam? 🙂
Thanks to anyone who can possibly help!
I have been wondering, does strippin quickrise? Sometimes i feel like he doesn't. Been a while since I played though so maybe that's the normal delay on the ground.
RudoLph…
The resource I see the most is percentage in Smash Bros. It's far different than the typical health bar of other fighting games, where percents are used to decide "Okay, they're at 100%, if I charge f-smash they're totally gone." But in a fighting game all that matters is you depleting the opponents health bar, and sometimes finding the better ways to do it but not nearly to the extent of Smash Bros. percentages where, as an example, using Fox's neutral b the laser can rack up percent, but lacks any launch power or hitbox, but in any other fighting game the laser would be very effective in getting a life bar lower.
I watch health and ultra meters most
Yo, I think you mislabeled the episode with last week's title! 🙂 It says "Simplifying Choices", but the in-video title at the start reads, "Screen Awareness".
One thing that helps in SFV is when someone gains meter there is a sound effect. Usually if you hear that cue you can figure who got what by context of the game even if you aren't looking directly at that part of the screen.
to answer the question: Meter and Burst (GG).
Something that would be really cool to see is if you could get Jirard to come in and play Strippin at the end of the show. See who was dojoed better.
Bret I think next episode you should teach strippin why neutral jumping when you're expecting an EX DP doesn't always work. Cause that shit is dangerous, and frustrating to see being repeated.
I play blazblue. It's definitely burst and heat there
UNIEL GRID
I say Rudof for sure
The meatiest meaty that ever meaty'd!!!
The meter exercise, while important, is such a distraction. Forming the specific words makes it so hard. Why not just a signal, like a "yup" for every change at a given time? Just because he doesn't say the words doesn't mean he didn't see it.
Oh God, please, say rudolph ;n;
